While I have experimented with cooking her berries into some formulations, I always found the flavor to be insipid. I appreciate knowing that her flowers may be worth connecting with. Thanks again!
oh your welcome - such a favourite alley of mine. my son and I made it through a week of swine flu with just this elderflower tincture to help manage the fever. So although she has a more musky base I have made sodas and ferments from the flowers and also a very effective (as mentioned) elderflower tincture with racemosa. i never did the jam.....so good to know!
