I’m in a fb mom group that won’t allow you to suggest any activity that involves a mask… I thought a pool play date would be fun for all our wildlings, but it was censored because of the 2 minutes of mask wearing required in the lobby. That was a hilarious whiplash from what you usually hear. So I guess you could call me a centrist. I’ll wear a mask where I have to, to get what I want. Just another white settler I guess.
Such a fan of your writing, Natasha. I, too, have mostly retreated to a quiet, hermit-like state among my communities, save for a few. I relate so much to the loss of motivation for creative pursuits (art for the sake of beauty) and energy for polite relationships. I hope these islands of us can somehow find each other in a new way forward.
yes! i would very much like for the islands to reach out and connect a little more. this new year I feel some clearing within all the noise, as well as some discipline around what i focus on and i hope to invite you all to some land based practices to continue the work - big hugs Joy, thanks for your support
